TREATMENTS

• No other fungicides were applied during this study.

Treatments: (per acre, per application)

[T1] - Control (Ctrl):

• Plants were maintained at a commercial level with both insecticides (twice weekly applications) and fertilizer program (liquid fertilizer through the drip every day)
• No fungicides

[T2] - Treatment 2: Ctrl+Vegro®

• Control
• Vegro®

[T3] - Treatment 3: Grower Standard

• Control
• Serenade Opti. (1Lb/acre)
• Agphite 57 (2Qts/acre)

[T4] - Treatment 4: GS+Vegro®

• Control
• Serenade Opti. (1Lb/acre)
• Agphite 57 (2Qts/acre)
Vegro®

APPLICATIONS (dates):

Foliar applications were made on:

• 11/1/2017 (App. A)

• 11/8/2017 (App. B)

• 11/17/2017 (App. C)

• 11/22/2017 (App. D)

• 11/30/2017 (App. E)

• 12/6/2017 (App. F)

• 12/12/2017 (App. G)

• 12/19/2017 (App. H)

AGRONOMIC CONTROL

• EACH TREATMENT REPLICATED 4 TIMES

• Foliar applications were made with a hand-held boom (CO2 operated, 40 PSI) fitted with three (3) nozzles (TXVS8) and sprayed at 40 GPA.

CROP & TECHNIC:

• Plastic beds (32-foot top x 6 feet tall and 6-foot row spacing).

• SQUASH (summer), variety: Enterprise.

• Hand-seeded into two rows/bed (12” plant spacing) on Oct. 18th, 2017.

• Treatments were arranged in Beds 5-7.

• Each treatment replicated 5 times

Study Results

+9%

More efficacy of the fungicides when Vegro® is added to the GS [T3] GS and [T4] GS+Vegro®.(2nd check)

-15%

Less Downy Mildew severity when VEGRO® is added to the control. [T1] Vs [T2]

0%

Vegro® is zero Phytotoxicity

Results:

Disease control:

  • +9% is the improvement rate when Vegro® is added to the Grower Std. [T3] GS Vs [T4] GS+Vegro® (2nd check)
  • -15% Less Downy Mildew severity when Vegro® is simply added to the control. [T1] Ctrl Vs [T2] Ctrl+Vegro®

Objectives: When applied by foliar spray, to demonstrate the ability of Vegro® to improve the efficacy of the fungicides by controlling better the Downy Mildew reduction. In the meantime, it will help to grow more quality yield and more natural. Main parameters monitored for this study: Pressure disease on Downey Mildew, weight count & fruit count.

For a better view of the graphs and charts, reposition your mobile device into landscape mode.

Severity Downy Mildew >> -9% less Downy Mildew when Vegro is added to the Grower Std.

• -9% Less Downy mildew when Vegro is added to the Grower Std. [T3] Vs [T4] (2nd check)
•+9% it can be said this way too, Vegro® improves the efficacy of the fungicides by +9% (2nd check). [T3] GS Vs [T4] GS+Vegro®
• -15% Downy Mildew severity when Vegro® is simply added to the control. [T1] VS [T2]

Fruit Count (in pcs)
Fruit Weight (in Lbs)
Less Downy Mildew, grow more consistent quality yield within more natural solutions.
