Treatments
  • • Plot A untreated, the Grower Standard [T1]
  • • Plot B treated with Cyan 365® as above [T2]
Agronomic Protocol

For the three reputed growers who have participated to this study, A block of 30 acres has been selected for each grower and then divided in two plots  of 15 acres. Each plot of 15 acres has an average density of about 150 TPA, 2,250 trees in each plot. Trees are Ruby red's, one year old after planting.

10%, 225 trees have been randomly selected in each plot for being monitored.

Per grower, 450 trees total monitored, 225 untreated, 225 treated.

Overall, 1,350 trees have been monitored at total for this study.

Crops selected: Grape fruit, ruby red variety on sour root stock.

Localization: 2 growers with groves located in different and distant spots within Indian river districts (North and South), Fl and another grower with a grove located on West coast Florida (Arcadia)

Measurements: trunk ø: by Electronic caliper, at 2 inches above the bud union and two measurements, 1 North to South, 1 East to West. Height and width by measure tape.

Measurements Height and Width (canopy wide)

Simply made with a measure tape. The height from the ground to the top and for canopy an horizontal measurement in the center from end to end.

Cyan 365® is zero Phyto-toxicity

Objectives: This study is to understand the benefits of using CYAN 365® on young perennial fruit tree (citrus) when used in combination with the Grower Standard programs (nutrition & protection). The only added "variable" for this study is Cyan 365®.

Trunk Diameter

Data was collected among 3 highly reputable growers. Each has his own fertilizing plan (Grower standard) and CYAN 365® was applied on top of the GS, also called “untreated” for this trial. All growers use the same type of equipment (conventional sprayers). However, the number of nozzles opened and the tank sizes may differ.

The average trunk diameter between the 3 growers increased by about +194.2% after only 8 applications (equal to 8 months)

Tree Height

Data was collected from the 3 growers. Each has his own fertilizing plan (Grower Standard) and CYAN 365® was applied on top of the GS, also called “untreated” for this trial. All growers use the same type of equipment (conventional sprayers). However, the number of nozzles opened and the tank sizes may differ.

Average tree height increase is about +52% after 8 applications at only 1 pint/acre.

Tree Canopy Width

Data was collected from the 3 growers. Each has his own fertilizing plan (Grower Standard) and CYAN 365® was applied on top of the GS, also called “untreated” for this trial. All growers use the same type of equipment (conventional sprayers). However, the number of nozzles opened and the tank sizes may differ.

Average canopy width increased about +500% after 8 applications only at 1 pint/acre.
